Fargo Public Schools
Upgrading learning spaces at Bennett Elementary
When Fargo Public Schools sought a construction partner to complete upgrades at Bennett Elementary, they leaned on AP Built to get the job done right—and on time.
Bennett Elementary opened in Fargo, North Dakota, in August 2000 and serves nearly 700 learners in grades K-5. After more than two decades and thousands of scholars passing through its doors, the school was due for several maintenance projects centered around its classroom spaces.
Specifically, the district tasked our team with:
Demolishing existing locker bays
Constructing new classrooms
Re-installing lockers around new classrooms
The Challenge
This project required close collaboration with a number of key stakeholders, including district staff and school leaders. The timeline was also tight—only eight weeks—which meant strategically planning our work ahead of time was key.
Our Solution
With our expertise and attention to detail, we were able to procure materials early and finish on time without any change orders. And because Fargo Public Schools is a public organization, adhering to a strict budget was also a key component of this project. In the end, the thoughtful planning and vast construction experience of the AP Built team helped us stay within the established cost parameters and show up as a partner the district could rely on.
